Elana Van der Watt

I am a journalist and content creator with over 20 years of experience in media, marketing, and communications. I spent 12 years working in community news and six years as a multi-platform freelance writer and content creator before returning to full-time employment in the medical industry. My core skills are audience-specific message crafting, strategic communications for organisational cohesion, print and digital journalism, newsroom management, and the successful training and mentoring of upcoming journalists. More recently, an enthusiasm for Customer Experience led me to acquire this certification and a CX skill set I'm excited to apply for the well-being of patients.
